Keep Smylin

Helping People Live Well with MS
About Us

Keep Smylin has been running for over 10 years and was founded by Amber. Miriam later joined the journey, with Misha becoming part of the team shortly afterwards, helping to grow Keep Smylin into the supportive and empowering community it is today.

What began through shared experiences and peer support has continued to grow into a safe space for people living with Multiple Sclerosis. We provide connection, advocacy, and community through regular support, events, and fortnightly online calls where members can connect, share experiences, and support one another.

As women living with MS ourselves, we are passionate about helping others feel seen, supported, connected, and empowered to live well with Multiple Sclerosis.

What is MS?

What is Multiple Sclerosis (MS)?

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a lifelong condition that affects the brain and spinal cord, also known as the central nervous system. It happens when the immune system mistakenly attacks the protective covering around the nerves, disrupting messages between the brain and body.

MS is often called the “Snowflake Disease” because everyone experiences it differently — no two people have the exact same symptoms or journey. Symptoms can include fatigue, pain, mobility difficulties, vision problems, and memory challenges.

Although living with MS can be challenging, many people continue to live full, meaningful, and fulfilling lives with the right support, treatment, and community around them.

OUR  MISSION

Keep Smyelin logo.pdf.png

Keep Smylin CIC exists to support people living with Multiple Sclerosis to live well, stay connected, and feel empowered. We create welcoming spaces that encourage social interaction and reduce isolation, while building supportive communities where individuals feel understood, valued, and never alone in their journey.

Through advocacy, peer support, events, and fortnightly online calls, we aim to amplify the voices and needs of those affected by MS. We are passionate about creating inclusive, uplifting, and enjoyable experiences that promote wellbeing, build confidence, and bring moments of joy to our community.

As women living with MS ourselves, we understand firsthand the challenges that can come with living with a long-term condition — from navigating daily life and managing symptoms to coping with loneliness, anxiety, and uncertainty. Because of this, we are committed to creating a safe and compassionate environment where people can openly share experiences, build meaningful friendships, and access emotional and community support without judgement.
